With traffic lights persisting on the course, once again the 9 mile shortened variant was tackled. A warm evening saw 8 members race from Huby to Dunkeswick.
Fastest on the night was Sam Ward in 18:28. Fastest woman was Helen Goldthorpe in 23:02. Showing the biggest improvement and taking most points was club president Peter Clarke.
After 7 rounds, Matt Asquith leads the handicap competition on 44 points, 2 points ahead of John Raftery with Liam Mealey a further 5 points back.
Next week sees a return to the Walshford course for the 25 mile Championship event. To be eligible for prizes, please enter by Wednesday 18th by adding your name to this event. Note the early start time.
